Stargazing Session and Exhibition at Long Eaton School - Wednesday 20th January 2016
A stargazing event, exhibition and talks were held at Long Eaton School on Wednesday 20th October 2016. The evening was well represented by the DDAS and a number of other local groups - particularly East Midlands Stargazers. Despite the cold weather the crowds were able to look through a variety of telescopes. Our own Graham Ensor had brought along a selection of meteorites from his collection and was celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Barwell meteorite fall. The irrepressible Paul Money also gave a talk. The following pictures were taken by Tony Barker.
