Anyone under 18, be they a member or no, must be accompanied at our meetings by a responsible adult (who may then become a member in order to accompany the young person).
Membership costs £30 per annum. Concessions (unwaged, student, on state pension) costs £20 pa.
Our membership year runs from May to April, meaning everyone's membership renewal is due in May.
Membership can be paid either by cash, card or cheque at one of our meetings, or by bank transfer.
You don't have to join to attend our meetings at first - you can 'try before you buy' as a visitor for a few meetings initially.

Only pay a £2 entry fee to our meetings (visitors pay £5).
Members are entitled to some training on the use of our Flamsteed Observatory, and when deemed competent may obtain a key to enable them to use the facility at any time.
Borrowing telescopes from the society.
Joining our WhatsApp group to chat with other members.
Receiving email updates on our upcoming meetings and events, as well as other society news and information.
Members may submit content for our website, including astrophotos they have taken.
Members are entitled to join society trips that are held from time to time.
