The Eclipse of 29th March 2006 as seen from Derby

Chris Newsome took the following pictures of the partially eclipsed sun during a five minute window at around 11:04 UT (12:04 BST) on the 29th March 2006 from Derby. It was taken with a Canon EOS 300D camera, a 200mm lens, 100ASA, and 1/640th second at f/10. The image was adjusted slightly in CS2 using RGB levels to enhance the cloud formations. The only filtration was natural i.e. provided by the clouds!!!! Chris comments that the filtration was so good, he could see the sun/moon combination with the unaided eye.
